The operator Teleconnect has started its expansion in Spain, where it will invest 3.600 million pesetas over three years, extending its Internet, voice and data services from the Balearics, where today it inaugurated its corporate headquarters in Palma de Mallorca.
This telecommunications service company for islands and coasts began operating in July 2000 on the Costa del Sol – at the moment it has branch offices in Marbella , Málaga and Madrid – and foresees commencing operations in Alicante and the Canaries before the year ends. Its expansion plan includes establishment in diverse areas of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Brava and the Canaries.
Teleconnect´s CEO, Nicholas Bruemmer, indicated that the company offers services that, “until now, were not being covered by any other operator in these geographical areas”.
At the same time, he reiterated that their objetive is to become, in “2003, the third-largest national operator” in the area which they operate.
